Confidence Cement Dhaka Limited (CCDL) was incorporated on February 19, 2018 as a private limited company with the objective of manufacturing and marketing high-quality cement in Bangladesh. The Company is committed to delivering superior products without compromising on quality, while strictly adhering to sound corporate governance and business ethics.

CCDL's strategic vision is to establish a sustainable and competitive presence in the cement industry by proactively addressing both internal and external challenges and ensuring long- term growth and market resilience.

CORPORATE BACKGROUND

CCDL is a subsidiary of Confidence Power Holdings Limited (CPHL), which was established in 2017 as a concern of Confidence Group. CPHL operates four Independent Power Producer (IPP) plants located in: Bogura, Rangpur and Chattogram.

These plants are Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO)-based power generation facilities equipped with 16 generators each, sourced from leading European manufacturers including: Rolls-Royce (Norway) and MAN Energy Solutions (Germany). Each plant has a maximum generation capacity of 113 MW, contributing to a combined capacity of 393.36 MW. All equipment is EU board certified, and the facilities maintain stringent safety protocols, including mechanical, electrical, thermal safety systems, integrated fire defense mechanisms, and advanced smoke detection systems.

PRODUCTION CAPACITY & INVESTMENT

The cement plant of CCDL has: Projected production capacity: 6,000 metric tons per day
Annual production days: 300 days
Estimated annual capacity: 1.8 million metric tons
The Company has invested approximately Tk. 815 crore in establishing:
A modern cement manufacturing plant, A slag dryer facility and A 20 MW captive power plant. Commercial operations commenced in January 2026.
This large-scale investment is expected to generate significant employment opportunities and contribute substantially to the national economy through industrial growth and government revenue.
